Wednesday data center tidbits.

First up today is the story about Google blowing up AppEngine , 2 hours of downtime and failed to transfer over to the backup data center. For all the hullabaloo about how great Google is, they seem to have a hard time keeping things running, and when they blow it, they REALLY blow it. No word on the cause yet but it should be interesting.

What the heck has gone wrong with Google? A steady string of major service outages, a major face plant with Buzz, it’s like they’re devolving.

Need cloud computing services without the multicolored wigs and squeaky red noses? Call or email me or visit the SwiftWater Telecom web site for green data center and cloud computing services minus the hype.
